Status for Mamadou

Mamadou Konate, who laboured in Quebec’s long-term care facilities throughout the pandemic, faces deportation from Canada due to an obscure clause in the Immigration Act. Friends of Mamadou, asylum seekers, advocates, and community allies gathered outside of Justin Trudeau’s riding office on Tuesday to demand status for Mamadou and status for all.
