Montrealers tell fossil fuel companies to kiss off

On February 15th – one day after Valentine’s Day – Coalition Étudiante pour un Virage Environnemental et Social (CEVES) occupied the front of the RBC building at Place Ville-Marie for a kiss-in. Here, they took a moment of affection to disrupt and denounce the dangers that pipelines pose to ecosystems and drinking water in Montreal, as well as to address the ties that RBC and other banks have to these projects.
