Sex workers gather to resist Bill C-36

cutv_admin | October 18, 2022

Sex workers have been resisting Bill C-36 since it regulated sex work back in 2014. This coverage takes us to the steps of Le Palais de Justice on October 7th, where around 70 Montrealers are demanding the decriminalization of sex work. Despite thousands of sex workers spending the last seven years building a case against the bill that attempts to federally regulate prostitution and imposes dangerous working conditions on consensual workers, Bill C-36 is now law.
