How Bill 2 Will Affect Quebec’s Transgender Community

The Québec government is proposing having both “sex” and “gender” on birth certificates and only allow people to change their “sex” if they had gender-affirming surgery Bill 2 will divide members of trans community in two different categories, as only those who have had gender-affirming surgery to change the sex listed on their birth certificates and other documents.
