Going Solo: An Intro to the One Person Video Team

What does it take to go shoot a video by yourself? What should I have in my bag? What could I have in my bag? And how do I use these things? An introduction to the joys and sorrows of going it alone in a variety of situations (documentary, news, promotional, and music videos).

For over 12 years, filmmaker Jesse Freeston has honed a process of directing, shooting, and editing, while making a variety of documentary films, music videos, videojournalism, and campaign videos. He has worked independently as well as for outlets such as Vice News, 60 Second Docs, Democracy Now, The Real News Network, teleSUR. He is currently a member of the Wet’suwet’en Nation video team.
