CUTV offers a wide range of quality A/V equipment, including cameras, microphones, lights, and much more!
Studios
Our audio recording booth includes an iMac with Reaper and Garageband, monitor headphones, and microphones by request. Our video studio includes two softbox lights, a green screen, and a white wall. Both rooms are free to members with a reservation.

Coworking and Video Editing Suites
CUTV members have free access to an editing suite equipped with a Mac Mini M4 Pro with Davinci Studio and the Adobe Suite installed. There are an additional 3 iMacs with DaVinci Resolve and other softwares installed. Please reach out to us to discuss other software needs!
Reservations for the editing room are not required, but you can choose to make a reservation.
We encourage visitors to be mindful of the space and limit their time to ensure other members have equal access.

Interested in renting equipment?
CUTV provides free/low cost AV equipment rentals
to students, journalists, activists, and other underserved groups who face barriers to accessing equipment rental services.
Equipment can be rented for up to a week.
We offer free rentals to student member. Most items are free for community members, though some have a small fee.
Please refer to our equipment rental and membership policies before renting equipment
which you agree to follow by using the MyTurn platform to make reservations.

Registration
Upon registering at the station as a member, you should get an email from our Equipment and Spaces Co-ordinator with your account credentials for equipment rental. If you have not received an email with your username and password, please reach out to equipment@cutvmontreal.org.
