Kalden Dhatsenpa is a journalist and the host of Local 514, a Montréal news talk show. He is also on the editorial board of Canadian Dimension. He has work published in The Breach, Commo Mag, Yeshe Journal, and Carte Blanche.

Aude Simon is an editor, videographer, and video journalist with Local 514, as well as independently. She has also worked with outlets such as La Converse and The Link. A Film Studies student at Concordia University, she focuses on documenting human connections to expose systemic inequities and amplify underreported issues.

Hana Joosse is an independent filmmaker and artist. He is passionate about environmental and social justice issues, and using art as a way to amplify these struggles. Outside of CUTV, Hana works as an art director for film, television, and theatre, and holds a BFA in Film from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Tatiana Povoroznyuk is an archivist currently working on digitizing and expanding access to CUTV’s video archive. She holds a Master of Information Studies from McGill University, and has worked as an archival assistant and consultant at various non-profit and student-led organizations since 2018. She seeks to use digital archival systems in responsible, equitable, and interesting ways, with the ultimate goal of democratizing access to underrepresented historical narratives.

Nicholas runs the equipment depot and keeps things chugging along at the station. He loves labelling systems and repairing broken gear. He dislikes late returns and unauthorized mice. Nicholas has a background in audio/video post-production, community space coordination, and organizing community skills workshops. In his free time, he can be found doing DIY electronics, carpentry, and backpacking.

Leila Salazar (they/them) is a multimedia artist and undergraduate researcher at Concordia University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology. As Video Assistant Archivist at CUTV, Leila works to make over 50 years of video archives more accessible to the public. Their practice sits at the intersection of art and research, using collaborative art, video, and graphic design to amplify community knowledge and challenge oppressive systems. Guided by decolonial and anti-capitalist principles, Leila is dedicated to creating spaces that nourish resistance, solidarity, and collective care, and to reimagining futures through creative community engagement.

At CUTV, Henrietta organizes, cleans, and sets up gear for the equipment depot. She can usually be found assembling equipment orders and designing stunning posters. She has experience in art tutoring and has also worked as an art technician/assistant at the Ottawa School of Art. She is a Concordia Student studying Drawing and Painting in the BFA program. She strives to make responsible artworks about interconnectedness, appreciation, and the self, to explore perspective and emotion.

Hubert Sia works as the Video Journalist Assistant of Local 514, where he supports the Video Journalism team, edits video content, and assists with the production. He is an undergraduate student at Concordia University, specializing in Computation Arts with a Minor in Education. Passionate about storytelling and Montreal’s local news, Hubert brings experience in video editing and motion graphics to help highlight the voices and stories that shape the city.
