Environmental activists, politicians and concerned Montrealers gathered for an annual earth day protest at Places des Festivals. The theme of the protest was “no more cuts”, it comes as the federal government eliminated the consumer carbon tax. The event hosted a fair, musical acts and a puppet show before taking to the streets for a march.
