Bill 97 sparks protest in Montreal: forests, sovereignty, and solidarity with Palestine

Hundreds marched in Montreal against Quebec’s proposed Bill 97, which would reserve one-third of public forests for industry. Protesters linked the fight for Indigenous sovereignty to global struggles, converging with a Palestine solidarity rally the same day.
